Dear Ones,

As winter deepens, and soups, gloves, scarves, and hats take over our wardrobe, the seeds of spring are beginning their vital dance under the dark soil. Winter is pregnant with Spring.

Our Shvat moonth is all about eating from the Tree of Life, getting nourishment consciously, beyond the binaries.

And as winter gets pregnant with spring, I’m getting ready to give birth to my book. After four years of pregnancy, the birth pangs of social media, PR, and scheduling my book-launching events with live music, selected readings, and Q&A for the East and West Coasts, are beginning to kick in. The costs for the PR and Social media experts, plus the expensive travel for the tour have made me launch my campaign. It is now live! Please support, open your generosity, and share it far and wide.

In these perilous times, encroached by AI, pandemics, climate disasters, the culture of war, corporations, and domination, supporting an independent engaged artist might be revolutionary. Art is not a luxury, imagine the world going one full day, a week, without music, without colors, without written words, plays, or movies. Muses are real, divine nourishment to our bodies and spirits. Songs and stories are food from the Tree of Life. As dearest Ladonna Bravebull Alard, her memory is a blessing! Lakota wisdomkeeper and friend, one of the igniters of “Standing Rock” used to tell me often, when she saw me doubting: “Gabriel, don’t worry, you just keep playing and singing for the people.” And I would feel like I just ate the most scrumptious desert, full of energy and elated with life.

With dearest Ladonna Bravebull Allard

As I’m writing this, I hear about a ceasefire in Gaza, praying it will transform into real peace, dignity, equality, and joy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

As we witness the horrible fires in Los Angeles, and other climatic catastrophes around the world, may embracing our truest core values, help us acknowledge that we human beings are not the center of reality. May we embody the Tree of Life, through our circulatory system, our blood, and our waters, sharing its delicious fruits, nuts, and flowers.
